That's farging aggravating to see Polanco NOT score on a farging line drive to CF from 2B. He stops at 3rd to load the bases with 1 out and MAAAyberry up.

Mr Triple-A-Berry does what he does best; pops out. Then Ruiz grounds out...and they end up with one lousy run.

PhillyPhreak54

lol I love Sarge..

"There's that little hop. See ya later, son"

Ruben Amaro's thoughts when he realizes that Juan Pierre is the most consistent hitter thus far;

A - "Man, this slap hitter is my only hope to generate offense"

B - "How silly of me to not get a bigger bat knowing Utley and Howard were going to be out"

C - "What a great farging signing by me!"

PhillyPhreak54

Beautiful sequence there.

Worley K's Hermida and the Pads sent the runner from 1st to get into a run down. Jimmy throws home and dude tried to knock Ruiz out but he held on.

random J observations during another boring, pointless phillies game

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

PhillyPhreak54

Anyone want action on whether Von Hayes could get off his couch right now and hit the ball better than Mr MAAAyberry?

MDS

can you imagine what will happen when they have to face good teams?

so far theyve lost 2/3 to the zesty pirates, the even shteinter mets, and a team that cant hit in the giants. somewhere in there they won a measly series against the second rate marlins.

now they are out-crappying the extraordinarily bad padres...thus far.

I was wondering what the hell happened.  I was monitoring the first 4 innings on my blackberry while at the gym.  3 hits and 1 run?  Rinse and repeat.

Real pisser is the farging game is blacked out here!  First the Giants series now the Padres.  The San Diego Padres blacked out in Hawaii on mlb.com  Kiss me Bud Selig as you've already farged me.

Unfortunately yes.

I've always wondered when one of the esteemed members of the media will question Bud and his minions on the stupid goddamn blackout policies.

Nice pitch by Worley. Its amazing that Kotsay didn't get thrown out.

Sidenote; I saw Kotsay and CSF play UT back in 1996 and that dude was a helluva college player

Chad Qualls warming for the 8th...I smell disaster.

Galvis is pretty farging solid defensively especially for never playing 2B.

I went to a couple Reading games last summer at he was a goddamn vacuum cleaner.

MDS

he is pretty good but hes a worthless player at 2B...you need more offensive production there.

as a SS, if hes hitting .250ish and hitting 8th on a good hitting team, thats alright. ultimately hes probably going to be a 9 hitter on an AL team that can take the offensive hit. like right now hed look real good on boston. maybe they dont want adrian gonzalez anymore?
