rookie shortstop Manny Machado, converted to 3rd baseman, makes the defensive play of the night, and of his life so far.

Hardy was smart as farg to drop in and cover 3rd as well..like farging clockwork.

thats a standard play in baseball...cant make the play at one base so you fake the throw and try to catch the guy sleeping...happens all the time...usually doesnt work....but when it does its because of hideous baserunning not any kind of special play in the field...even little leaguers know this
