If the D can somehow play like they played against the Giants, maybe they don't blow anymore 4th quarter leads.

I wish he made better decisions and he doesn't have a big arm but I agree he does have talent. He made some beautiful throws in traffic which went largely unnoticed.

Also, when a guy is starting his first game in over a season and you have one of the leagues leading rushers in the backfield you should establish the run to assist him. He didn't get that benefit as Reid threw the ball something like 9 out of the first 11 games.

maybe he refuses to do it but i cant believe no one has changed his arm slot...how is he still throwing the ball sidearm or 3/4...hed have so much more behind his throws...he looks like a big black ty detmer for god sakes

They've tried in the past, and it failed miserably and his delivery went back to the sidearm.  The advantage for him is his height, where the sidearm isnt such a detriment.  But I am surprised Marty and Andy haven't pushed it.  Gannon is really one of the only sidearm qb's who i can remember having success.  And his sidearm wasnt 100% of the time.

its a detriment because it prevents him from making throws that are needed in the nfl...and ive never seen him try it in a game...im betting when he was the man in tennessee he refused to do it and the titans gave up trying...maybe if the eagles have him for more than this year andy and marty will work on it in the offseason since hes now playing for his nfl career

No he didn't.

I figured igy was dropping some college knowledge on us from VY's college days while getting his MA schools confused.  But yeah, there it is right in the middle of the post...."titans."  Sometimes I don't read good.

They should scrap the long throws they were doing with VY, Desean has his guy beat twice and he couldn't put enough air under it to get it to him.

Or they could spend more than a week working on it. Just an idea.

Didn't you hear?  AR works 20, 21 hours a day; sometimes 22 hours a day.
