Andy doesn't want to leave and Lurie doesn't want to fire him but all parties seem to recognize that a chane of scenery is needed. He said a press conference will likely be called on NY Eve and he will be dismissed. The Eagles will then target Chip Kelly and if they cannot land him their fallback is "a number of offensive coordinators".

I don't know if I'd rather stick with Reid or go with Kelly. I'm leaning Kelly because he's something new but I'd rather go with a tough ground game and rebuild the D rather than go with some gimmicky offense. This reminds me of Spurrier's attempt to implement his college offense to the pro's. Kelly's offense revolves around the mobile QB, which the Eagles don't have unless they keep Vick which they're not going to do. Running style QBs don't win SBs either.

i think an accurate qb is much more important in a spread than a mobile one....new england is the perfect example...if you are gonna wing the ball all over the field all the time you better be able to put the ball where it needs to be and do it at a high level
