Don Ho

 farg him.  Go Bob.

Is anyone in Beantown still alive?  Between Bruins OT and last second Pats victory surprised half the region isn't gasping for air.

Geowhizzer

Beaneaters were too busy making their plans to come to Ft. Myers for the Red Sox spring training.

I don't think he was comparing, just stating that Boston fans had an exciting sports day that ended well for them.

Rome

In other news a 1997 Red Sox/Royals spring training game rebroadcast on NESN out-rated both games.

Between Bruins OT and last second Pats victory

definitely comparable

I forgot no one in Boston proper gives a shtein about the B's.  They are so far down the sporting food chain in that region, probably even below the MSL franchise.

Of course it's not comparable but two great games in an area that farging bleeds Bruin Gold more than Patriot red, white and blue.   Safe to say the tension was a little thick.

i doubt more than a handful even watched the bruins game.....and even if you did a regular season hockey game wouldnt register if my team was also in the afc championship that day

if bruins had lost the day would have held no less excitement for 99% of bostonians and if they had won but the pats lost everyone would be no less miserable

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Don Ho

Atlanta/Winnipeg, where ever they're from, they can't beat these guys.  The shootout performance was awful last night.
