So, let's recap:

IF he has AVM, he's DEFINITELY not playing ever again. Except maybe he will.
If he doesn't have AVM, he's DEFINITELY playing this year. Except maybe he won't.

From what I've heard, they don't even need to do invasive surgery if it's minor. They can also stuff it with glue or coils that diverts blood around it, and it dies of.

from what ive heard its not just the avm or any resulting treatment from it its also the fact that he had a stroke
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

yeah...thats how they came upon the avm diagnosis...you can also be diagnosed with it without having a stroke...which i think would leave open the possibility of him playing this year...but the combonation of the two pretty much ends his season

They had a neurosurgeon on CSN yesterday and she said it is possible to still be able to play after an AVM.

definitely is possible

did she say he could play this year with it?....that would be the first time i heard that opinion and  would def qualify as news

Not sure, but the big thing was where the AVM is located.

He had a seizure.....caused by the tangle of veins......I haven't see anywhere that he had a stroke. Some chit chat about maybe he had heat stroke....but that's not the same thing of a standard stroke.

Treated as in, stop death temporarily.

I can't imagine ANY doctor on this earth would allow him to play football again.

He's damn lucky he survived with "just" a seizure and wasn't left with partial or full paralysis from it.

To be accurate, any medical treatment is designed to stop death, temporarily.

You mean like putting a splint on a lethally dislocated finger?

In any case it was the fireman's treatment that worked the medical magic. It takes a lot of courage to give mouth to mouth so someone having a seizure.
