Yankees trailed Oakland 7-1 and won 22-9.  They hit 3 grand slams in the game and were the first team to do that. And Jorge Posada plays a horrific 2nd base.

Somewhat interesting Nats-Reds game.  Reds tied it up in the bottom of the 9th, it's currently in the 13th.  Davey Johnson, Pat Corrales (Johnson's replacement) and Dusty Baker have all been tossed.

Fricken' Ginats are not only losing ground in the NL West but also the wildcard race.  What are they, 8 games out of the wild card race?  Their lineup is completely decimated right now.  Not having the bearded freak of nature is a huge loss.
