Ex-MLBer Curtis Leskanic is being charged with a DUI after registering .331 on the breathalyzer.

His kid was in the back seat.

.331?  How the hell is he not dead?

Diomedes

He's a chronic alcoholic, obviously.  His tolerance is so high that he's probably carrying .15 on a 24/7 basis.  That's just to maintain, to keep the D.T.s at bay, etc.  He probably appears perfectly sober with a double the legal bac.

Rome

Ironically he aspired to .331 all his adult life and now he's attained it.

That's HOF material right there.

.331 is child's play. While some of the all-time greats of :CF were at Penn State, this one chick hit .682 on her 21st birthday... and survived.

Fielder told TBS that he thinks he's done in Milwaukee after the season

He probably wants to be paid like Ryan Howard, and the Brewers and probably at least 28 or 29 other teams would prefer to drink their own pee before getting themselves into one of those deals.

Fielder would come much closer to being "worth" that kind of contract than Howard is.  He has the same power and rbi production that Howard does, but he also has a good avg and gets on base more.  I'm not certain of his defensive stats, but the Brewers are a terrible defensive team and Fielder doesn't look to be overly athletic in the field, so Howard probably has the edge in that regard.

Edit:  Just compared their stats and the 2 are nearly identical in the field.  Pretty much the same at the plate, although Fielder does have a higher BA and fewer K's, but all of the power #'s and slg and ops are all in same ballpark.  So yeah, that would be a ridiculous contract.

Munson

He's also only 27 vs. Howard alaready being 31....so no, a 5 year, 125 million dollar deal wouldn't be nearly as controversial for him vs. Howard. Howard's going to be like 36 by the end of his deal.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Morrison filed a grievance against the Marlins for shipping his ass out in August.

Good for him.  Their owner is without a doubt the worst in sports.

A long time friend of mine is a Yankees fan.  He's been updating his facebook status every day for the last week with the Yankees magic number.  Today's update is "10."  LOL @ $200mil payroll.
