Yeah.  5 years ago he was one of my favorite players.  But the way he quit in Boston along with stories of him assualting team personnel for not getting him enough tickets for his family really started to turn me off on him.  Then the drug suspension in LA pretty much sealed the deal.  He should have walked away last year with a minor shred of respectability.

he gave the kid usher in the black jacket and tan hat a shove....which was apparently enough for the cops to wrap him up like a pig.   can't say I disagree with them.  I liked the "usa" taunt...and someone that is incredibly accurate needs to shut up the bitch whining "stop it, stop it"

yea i cant wait until june when francisco is hitting .240 and butchering ninth inning plays in RF

i dont hate him, he just sucks. hes ben francisco. if he was any good he wouldnt have been a throw in the in the cliff deal and wouldnt have stayed behind 300 year old raul ibanez last year.

1 week of solid production against the astros and mets isnt getting me crusty down there

Stop being a hater.

Jayson Werth was a less than heralded pick up and turned out pretty good.

If he is a .285/10-15/50-60 type guy then I'm cool with that.

werth always had talent. he was injured and everyone forgot about him. gillick scooped him up and the winning culture here made him who he is.

francisco wasnt good enough to start for the 2009 cleveland indians.hes a bench player.

.260 with a .330+ obp, 10+ homers will be great for him.

The only two seasons Fransisco got more than 400 at bats, he hit roughly .270ish and went for 15 homers.


If he can get 450-500 at bats as a Phillie for a full year, in this ball park....dude's gonna be north of 15 homers.
