Saying there's a "definite possibility" the Eagles go 4-12 next year is as dumb as hyperbolic statements made by homers that people seem so eager to mock.  I'm not sure I understand the crusade to lower expectations among mostly reasonable people who post here.  Not like you're getting generic WIP crowd with most of these posts.

There's a "definite possibility" the team goes 7-9 next year.  Saying the same for 4-12 is as uninformed as saying there's a definite possibility they go 14-2.

Implosion is conceivable for basically any team but it's certainly not definitely possible.   Those statements are long bizzaro world reflections of the people who claim absurdly positive records are definitely possible.

I can see things going wrong and the team finishing 7-9.  I can see things going very well and the team going 11-5.  A catastrophe or miracle would have to occur for 4-12/14-2.

he talking about the takeover of college football by the spread offense where quarterbacks don't have to actually make reads or make anticipatory throws into tight spots like they do in the nfl and this is why those kinds of qb's are not ready for the league
