while i am happy by this, it really feels like a distraction from the real problem on this team which is the offense.  i know the d has given up the game the past two weeks, but honestly they weren't horrible.  the offense is the main culprit to why they are 3-3

the offense is limited because of vick but we all knew this....the defense however...especially from a pass rush angle was supposed to be huge...seven sacks in six games is a REAL problem...and a big part of that is juans inability to draw anything up...blitz packages have been non existent

is this move a cure all for the team...absolutely not...but at least the offense has made plays...especially in crunch time...the defense has seven sacks seven interceptions and 1 fumble recovery in six games....the farging cleveland browns have 11 interceptions alone....the eagles d simply put makes ZERO plays and a big part of that falls on juan...you have to at least put your guys in position to make plays

above all else tho no matter what happens in the coming games....they at least dont have an offensive line coach as their defensive coordinator

Love it. Does it solve all the problems? Hell no... but a big one is out of the way.

Eagles have lost 11 games with Castillo in charge of the defense. 7 of them lost in the 4th quarter (8 of 12 if Tynes had another yard or two in his leg). Andy's desperate as hell right now and trying to separate himself from his blown experiment.
