farg errands. I was out getting the shtein kicked out of me on an athletic field. Every square inch of my body is in pain because I'm old, but I also have open wounds and copious bruises and it feels farging awesome.

An actual physical beating is better than the psychological pounding that Andy Reid dishes out to fans every day of the week, and twice on... never mind, I can't even type it.

Same here, i missed most of the game putting a boat in the water and getting it setup for waterfowl season.   I came back and was lucky enough to witness OT.  I do feel surprisingly better having deleted the DVR out of anger.

anyone who didnt watch that game or any other game this year didnt ever watch every eagle game....theres nothing wrong with that everyone prioritizes but dont act like this is the first time ever you didnt watch eagle games....or like somehow in the last five minutes you got fed up with andy reid and thats why you stopped

I wait all year for football season, so regardless of if they suck ass or not my ass is planted on the couch watching football. I sacrifice college football on Saturdays to spend with my daughter.

yeah, just because the eagles suck doesn't mean you can't watch other games and enjoy a football sunday.  do your shtein on saturday or during the week.  sunday is for football and beer

Never said any of those things, drama queen. I watch almost every game every year and this year will be no different. But football fandom has never defined my life and I had good opportunities to make a choice between watching the last two games or doing something else and I did something else (which is rare, especially on consecutive weeks). And it was glorious. Watching ugly Eagle-turnover-extravaganza, zesty-scared-defense football topped off with last-second losses is not my idea of a good time.

I do think it says something that I'm not the only one who decided to do something else for the last two games even though the team was 3-1 going into them. This team just isn't much fun to watch right now.
