I just watched this weeks SoundFX on NFLN and they had Ryans mic'd...my man crush grows.

He's filling a void you've had since JT went to Washington.

Desean and King Dunlap are the only guys on the team remaining from the 2008 draft. It's only been 4 years. They traded back the 1st for the Desean pick and some other shtein so at least it actually turned out well. That 3rd rounder was Bryan Smith.

And they got DeSean in the 2nd round, which means that if that trade had gone through, they very well could have had Fitz and Pimp.  I love Maclin, but he's no Fitz. 

Of course, who knows how the draft goes if Zona makes that trade.  Maybe they grab Pimp themselves to replace Fitz.  Still....the thought of possibly acquiring both of them in the same offseason not getting it done is maddening.

Zero chance they'd have taken Pimp if they traded for Fitz. They'd have taken Laws and that draft would have been that much worse.

You vastly underestimate how good Fitzgerald is. Unless by Chunky, you mean Kolb. Why Kolb doesn't throw the ball to Fitzgerald is a retarded mystery

Not surprised. He ranks 29th in the NFL for QBs at the moment. What I am somewhat surprised with is just how quickly he's fallen off. He's completely done, and like most things, everyone except Andy knows it. He's not going to come out and throw for 25/30 300+ yds 3tds 0 ints. Those days are gone. He's benched after the bye.
