-to give themselves 3 weeks off before the playoffs (and very possibly a rematch with the cowboys)

Cowboys probably lose away at whatever dogshtein NFCS team they play in the first round, which will make mega millions for Vegas. Not because the Cowboys are worse (they aren't), but just because that's how the Cowboys and McCarthy roll. In fact I could see the Eagles shteinting the bed in that scenario too so there's a world of difference between #5 and homefield throughout the playoffs. Gotta have it.

if it were up to me, id go for it if it can be a top 5 pick. so if the saints lose the next 2...yea. if they win the next 2, then whatever the difference between 11 and 15 is nothing.
