Hayes is ripping Howie for dumping Eric Rowe today.  Rowe farging sucked and his going to the Patriots made him better, not the other way around.

rowe was a 2nd round pick who has talent, he was given up on too eaely. theyve carried marcus smith for 3 years and will likely carry agholor for another one, and they both are terrible, but rowe had to go?

maybe he would only succeed with bb but giving up him on so quick was dumb, especially with the god awful corners they had. rightfully, howie got roasted.

Why It'd Be A Great Season: The trials and tribulations of Carson Wentz are made for Hard Knocks, especially after he told reporters he's going to be "shutting it down" for most of the offseason after a season with 607 pass attempts. There's also just something about the Eagles organization (and their fans) that feels like an interesting follow.

Why It Might Not Be: Coming off a 7-9 season the Eagles are a mediocre team with mediocre expectations in 2017. There is trainwreck potential but perhaps not that much exciting potential.

What We'd Look Forward To Most: The Carson Wentz Experiment, Year Two.

I'd be surprised if they weren't picked for Hard Knocks, actually. I don't think it would be a good thing, but they make a lot of sense. I'm not sure why whomever wrote that talks about "The Carson Wentz Experiment." There's not really an experimental element to it. He's a promising young QB. Weird way to write it.

There's no reason to assume he was a good coach worth keeping, but there's also no reason to assume they're going to replace him with someone better.
