Cox is doubled on most passes and is a serious disruptive force against the run. The sack totals would be much higher if offenses had to account for anyone else on that defense. The rest of the line has taken more of a step back than Cox has.

watch the coaches film and the all 22's.....cox has been ridiculous for most of the year....i dont know what else to tell you if you are going to look at sack totals which in general is a misleading at best stat but for a DT its almost meaningless

I don't have a Jaws type vault with film breakdown tape but from what I've seen he's been very average.

They're 5-9, have lost 8 out of 10, and the defense has been mauled since the Atlanta game. No one is dominating least of all Cox. He's played below average by his own admission. Frankly, they all have.

i get the coaches film for free for being a season ticket holder and watch it every week...plus a bunch of beat writers have done all 22's on a few of his games this year to dispel the notion that he has been anything but great...if you sit and watch him for a whole game...and its easy to do with the coaches film cause the play starts right at the snap and ends right at the tackle so its fast and user friendly as farg you see how farging awesome he is
