They could afford to give up a 5th and Huff or something like that. Gordon's an elite talent.

ice grillin you

is he an elite talent?...he hasn't caught a touchdown pass in three years...hes still pretty young but theres no guarantee he comes back as good as he was three years ago which was the last/only time he was elite..im not saying he cant wont but hes been out of the mix for quite a while and its another strike against him as far as another team wanting to give up anything of value for him

i could be wrong but i don't think theres a team in the nfl who would give up a 5th and a player (or even just a 5th) for a guy who doesnt give a shtein about consequences and is one step away from his career being over....hes also in the last year of his deal

i think he would have to come back and play for at least a year before anyone would give up value for him...at that point Cleveland would have to weight the offer against the odds that he fargs up in the future but as of now they are either stuck with giving him another chance or they release him

how about a conditional pick? like a 6th if he smokes weed on his way to the introductory PC and a 3rd or 4th if he can lay off the grass and return to form.

the eagles receivers are very bad so desperation mode is here
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

ice grillin you

i think if it would happen at all a conditional situation is the only way to pull it off if you are the team trading for him...but why would Cleveland do that...if he returns to form they would much rather have him than a 3rd round pick

which is why i think its the browns or bust at this point

QB Eagles

Yeah if Cleveland traded him during camp, I'm taking that as a signal he sucks now.

PhillyPhreak54

Cleveland should trade him but I doubt they do.

Jim Brown was involved with getting him righted this time and I think Hue Jackson will be good for him

QB Eagles

By the way he's already on the NFI list. So much for going back and proving his worth to the Browns as soon as possible.

QB Eagles

Travis Long was released. Probably would have happened years ago if he didn't keep popping ACLs. LB depth weak as farg right now considering Bradham could be missing games.

ice grillin you

its incredibly weak with bradham not missing games

the 2's and 3's are an abomination...mostly all over the roster but nowhere as much as LB

QB Eagles

Current backups in order of promise are the misnamed Najee Goode, practice squader Deontae Skinner, this year's 7th rounder Joe Walker, another Quentin, a guy who spells Mike with a "y", and a walk-on from Villanova who I'm calling Grapes. Yeah I would call that an abomination.

I think Tavares might be a find

And I like Goode. But yeah they need help

hes basically untradeable...hes too good for cleveland to release but to toxic for anyone to give up anything for him....maybe you can get a dan Snyder or someone like that to give up something but that's about it...and especially the eagles cant afford to take a chance on him for anything of value after they gave up picks for dakota boy

Totally agree!  Some dip shtein like Snyder or Jerrah will make a stupid move.  Jones clearly hasn't learned yet.
