Mine aren't fully paid off yet, so I can't manage them. Supposedly once you have paid the full balance, you can post them on Ticket Exchange in manual mode, or whatever that is, with the indication that tickets are not yet in hand.

actually I was past due and didn't even realize it. I brought it current last night and now I can manage all of the seats. so looks like you don't have to be fully paid, but can't be overdue.

Yeah, I just noticed that (and I got an email from the Eagles). Cool. They had accidentally applied my payment unevenly across my seats, which flagged my account as past due. I got them to fix it, but I didn't check back in until today.

It has is well documented how the Philadelphia Eagles have dished out so much guaranteed money this offseason. They signed some free agents, but the bulk of the money has gone toward extending their players.

Howie Roseman has been the architect of these deals. Roseman was on 94 WIP on Monday and highlighted where the bulk of the bad deals over the last few seasons have been, Turron Davenport of USA Today reports.

"When you look at it, some of the mistakes we've made have been going out and spending a lot of money," Roseman said. "A lot of those mistakes were on guys that aren't our own. They were guys that we've brought from another organization, and we thought we knew."

The failed contracts that were extended to DeMarco Murray and Byron Maxwell instantly come to mind when considering recent free agent activity. Rather than continue to go down the same path, the Eagles have focused on keeping a core group of players in the fold and complementing them with additional players.

"We went and looked at our plan for our roster over the next couple of years and said we will never let Fletcher Cox leave the building," Roseman said. "We will never let Lane [Johnson] leave the building, we will never let Zach[Ertz]...if we do it now, we do it a little early and maybe save on those guys and add to the team, keep as many guys around as possible. We have this core, and we can build off of that."

As a result, the Eagles extended a number players before when they were set to hit free agency. Outside of Cox, most of the players that got extensions are yet to enter their prime.

Roseman feels the Eagles are set up to be competitive both now and in the future. "We want this core group together for a long period of time. This is a group that we can go out and win games with at some point."

Sammykins got a two year stop gap deal.  The window for them to start competing opens in 2018 assuming Wentz is ready then.  Think 7-9 and 9-7 if they're lucky till then.

That sounds about right, optimistically. And even then the defense will have to carry them a bit if they are going to be one of the better teams. Howie not selling much Kool-Aid though, and there will always be takers for that.

High Stakes Howie will work out a deal with someone. Sure, he'll have to give up first rounders in 2018 and 2019, plus a bunch of second and third rounders, but sometimes you have to ruin a franchise to make an omelette.
