QuoteAdded wide receiver Josh Huff: "I've had plenty of injuries throughout my time playing under Chip.

I'm cherry picking hard, but this quote doesn't fill me with a whole lot of confidence.

lol

also lol at some sports science shtein preventing injuries in the nfl...i get the nutrition part....i get the practice schedules...shtein i even get the sleep monitoring...i get anything that has your players in better shape going into the game having to do with endurance

but nothing chip does is going to allow the eagles to have less or more injuries than any other team and if hes actually getting hurt players thinkign he can make them not injury prone than omg this is not going to end well

It turns out they've been the healthiest team in the NFL under Smoothie Magic.

QuotePhiladelphia, noted for Chip Kelly's foray into sports science last year, had the best AGL in 2013 and ranked fifth this season. They are only the third team since 2002 to lead the league in AGL and finish in the top five the following season. Maybe this team is onto something with preventing soft tissue injuries. The big problems for the Eagles were focused along the offensive line, plus a broken collarbone for Nick Foles and a torn Achilles for DeMeco Ryans. Sometimes bones are going to break in tackles regardless of how much prep work goes into each week.

or maybe nick foles collarbone broke because the whole offensive line was out with soft tissue injuries

like i said if chips training regimen is making them healthier and its way too small a sample size to know this then it has to do with endurance and fitness...i truly believe alot of injuries in football happen due to one player or team being less fatigued than another....when you are tired you are much more vulnerable to getting hurt imo...but the notion that chip has magic smoothies that make his players ligaments and muscle tissue less prone to injury is laughable beyond belief

SD

He obtains players with certain characteristics like their knees have to be a certain circumference, arms s certain length etc. There's studies these attributes lessen injuries. He said he's not pigeonholed into obtaining just players with these attributes but the player has to do something else extraordinary. "The best ability is durability"...if Bradford finishes the season I'm a believer

MDS

if bradford tears his acl again it wont have anything to do with chip...it will be because it happened

they traded for bradford because they believe, if healthy, hes a top level qb. they rolled the dice because they knew foles wasnt anything special. when it boils down to it chip is like any other coach that doesnt have rodgers/brady/etc.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

im not worried about bradford so much cause hes almost due not to have an injury plus he doesnt move...also i believe both his knee injuries were contact...not much you can do about that beyond good protection and luck...

im worried about all the guys who run and hit/get hit...demarco murray...matthews...thurmond...kiko...ect...
