Well, I'm on record. I'd rather have had the Eagles use their 7th rounder on Collins in a low-risk, swing for the fences move than have Frankenstein at DE. I'd have spun it the best I could have, and if he was cleared he'd play for the Eagles or no one. If he's implicated, I'd go with we wanted to give the no-character issue, innocent until proven guilty guy a chance and were saddened to hear of his proven involvement. The Eagles don't have character issue guys on the team, and don't have a history with them. I think they could have justifiably taken a chance on this one.

As soon as his association with her was revealed his chances of getting drafted went right in the truck stop shteinter. With the ultra sensitive nature of the league (minus the Cowboys bc Jerrah don't give a farg) no team was drafting him. I'd guess too that igy's prediction that King Roger passed down the word to stay away could be true.

Then again he'd open himself up to possible legal action (maybe EL can help explain if it's true) for colluding in preventing him from getting drafted and losing a ton of money.

So, now the Cowboys signed Collins. Great. And there's not even THAT much blowback about it. Eagles could have used that guy for sure.

theres 30 teams....only one can get him...but eagles needed him bad and he went to their division winner from last year...that's what makes this especially painful

sad thing is I bet the eagles didn't even think about taking a run at him....this culture thing is going to really bear out this upcoming season...
