Random Eagles Information Still Not Worthy of a New Thread

QB Eagles

I'd like to see the old Quarterback Challenge brought back for training camp. We need to know which of these guys is the suckiest of them all. I think Barkley might be worse than Tebow, and that's not meant as praise for Tebow's game whatsoever.

No problem at all. Thanks for the heads up that someone thinks Bradford isn't great.

Just some wild speculation here, but it seems possible that Sanchez, Bradley, and Tebow aren't very good either.

Not sure about this Bradley guy but Barkley might be less than good.

But is he the worst quarterback on the roster right now? That's the real question.

G J Kinne might not even be the worst QB on the roster now though G J Kinne might not even be a QB on the roster, now.

Bennie Logan went to LSU with La'el Collins, he tweeted this last night

Thought of the day, everything I do don't need to be publicized. Just know his name is alive and loud in Philly!

Jason Cole reported the Eagles are interested in Collins:
QuoteAccording to multiple NFL sources, LSU offensive lineman La'el Collins will receive interest from seven teams.

He has already received interest from two initially, starting with Buffalo and the Miami Dolphins. However, those teams are going to wait until the investigation by Baton Rogue police is completed and to see if Collins is completely cleared in the murder of a former acquaintance and that acquaintance's baby girl.

Now, those seven teams that have expressed interest, aside from Buffalo and Miami ... you have Detroit, St. Louis, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New Orleans. Those five in addition to the initial two, again, Miami and Buffalo.

He has his pick of teams but if the Eagles could somehow land him it would be huge.

i doubt chip is interested but if he is new orleans being in there is not good....dook was born and raised in baton rouge....south beach with no state taxes has to be tempting too

in the eagles favor is playing time...he wouldnt even really have to compete for a starting position

What are the rules regarding this?  A guy just can't skip the draft and sign wherever he wants.  Doesn't he have to wait a year or something?  Otherwise Elway, Eli Manning and others would have just skipped the draft.

I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

He's able to sign as an undrafted free agent, following those rules, because that's exactly what he is.

I still don't quite get why a team didn't take a flyer in the 7th. There's not a ton of difference between that and trying to talk him into signing now. Either way, you're expressing interest in the possibility of value on the chance he's not a hideous human being. And it's not like usual 7th rounders have been a bounty of productivity.

hes a possible murder suspect and they dont sign players who have friends that may or may not be in a gang
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

But teams are trying to sign him now. Semantics.

one word: goodell

wouldnt entirely shock me if he covertly put out a message to the entire league to not draft this guy

but even if he didnt in this day and age of the nfl the PR hit would be massive in the trail of aaron hernandez if a team knowingly drafted a guy who was being interviewed regarding a murder investigation and then said draftee got charged with the murder

dont think anyone is going to sign him until he is fully cleared by police

but even if not a week of investigation is tons more info than anyone had on saturday

teams are interested IF and WHEN he is cleared by police, of course

nobody was and is touching him until then.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see him signed before an official announcement. I'm in comms, and I easily could have crafted a statement that said, "As the police on record as not currently considering Collins as a suspect, we wanted to use a late round pick on him as a placeholder while the investigation took place. If he's cleared, he represents a great value to us and we give him an opportunity to reclaim his football career. If he's found to have committed any wrongdoing whatsoever, we haven't lost more than our last pick in this draft where we'd already found a lot of value."

ice grillin you

guess who would read that statement....no one

guess who would haved killed the nfl and its teams for being completely ignorant and tone deaf after aaron henandez ray rice etc...everyone
