from what i read he didn't get traded last year because he refused to restructure
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

There's two starting CB positions and three players.  One had to go.  The fact that they got rid of 10 million dollars and still got something back in return is a minor miracle.

And it's not like I hated Samuel or anything.  He was a good player for the Birds.  But he had to go.  Hopefully they'll draft someone to replace him with one of the second rounders they have.

i'd be all over Jenkins in the early 2nd.  All the talk of him falling off teams boards makes me think he goes late first.

if the money is THAT big of a deal then fine, trade him purely based on that

but im thinking they could take the hit in dead money without much problem. so why not just wait. maybe someone blows out their knee in august and talks themselves into asante. maybe its for a 6th. maybe its also for a 7th. maybe no one does. then you just cut him.

to me, its worth the chance that you might be able to get something a little bit better. a 7th is totally worthless.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Agreed. Which pretty much guarantees neither of them will be Eagles anytime soon.

Janoris Jenkins scares me, Boykins would be fine.

Though I think there is a good chance they go corner in the first if Gilmore or Kirkpatrick are there.

Why should he scare you? You don't have to pay his baby mamas for his kids. Lol.

Yeah, he comes with issues (a lot of them)... but he also might be the best cover corner in the entire draft.

The fact that he got kicked off his team in Florida bothers me, there is no doubt he is good and I wouldn't hate the pick but probably not until the 3rd round.

Plus I would rather have one of the two first round guys because I think they make better fits in the slot and are physical players which this team desperately needs.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I looked three times. I got three different sounds.

1st Look: Scchhboiiing!

2nd Look: The sound of two balloons rubbing together while thinking of his greasy, oiled up balls scraping my chin

3rd Look: Chicka-bow, chicka-bow-wow!

Still don't get it.  :-[

i wouldnt take jenkins AND boykin...id take one of the two if they are there in rounds two and three respectively...i think they probably should go late one and two but each have "issues" that could allow them to drop...boykin is pretty much a slot guy imo so teams might not want to spend a two on a one dimensional inside cb...we all know why jenkins might drop

lol at big upping a 6 and saying a 7th is "worthless"...the difference btwn undrafted FA's and 6th rounders is miniscule

ill remember to bring up the day you were so concerned about the difference btwn a 6th and 7th rounder the next time you poop all over the eagles for flipping a 7th for an extra 6th in the next years draft
