Was that poll taken before or after the Eagles started employing the dog killer?
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

The team with SIX Super Bowl wins has more fans than the one with none?

How is this possible?

The city's team with lots of white people has more fans than the one with all the coloreds?

How is this possible?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Don't feel bad. If I were you, I wouldn't bother trying hard either.

That's not surprising.  Once you get west of Harrisburg, PA is pretty much Steelers dominated.  And even in the Harrisburg area, it's still a toss up.  But hey, the Eagles have dibs on S Jersey and Delaware, so......yeah, I got nothing.

I grew up in NEPA and people up there identify more with the NY teams than Philly. Once you go north past Allentown, it's Steelers, Giants and believe it or not Miami Dolphins country. We had one local player (Jimmy Cefalo) on the Dolphins back in the 70's/80's and people are still latched on to that team.

If you go south of the canal in DE you start to run into taterskins and Ravens fans but i'd say it's still shaded green.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Makes sense. I think south of Harrisburg is mostly Skins fans.

Drunkmasterflex

There aren't nearly as many Skins fans in PA as there used to be.  I know in York it is mainly Ravens fans.

There are definitely a lot more Steelers fans in this area compared to what there used to be.  Obviously for one there it is because they win and two a lot of Pittsburgh people are in this area now.

What cracks me up is how many jerkoff "diehard" Cowboys fans seem to call Philly home.

Ever been to Dallas?

Can ya find Dallas on a map?

No? That's what I thought.

i know we want the eagles to win more bla bla bla but isnt it great to have a fanbase of just philly?

no bandwagoners, no middle PA rednecks...just straight philly + the people on this board

These conversations make me wish I was raised like an icehole to root for a different team.

Oh and death to all of you. They make me wish for death. To all of you.

Nope. You get thrown in the blender too. Just because you like Fugazi and hate corporations doesn't make me... well, yeah I guess it does. But still. Death.
