peter king saying that the eagles/giants will play on black friday...though im almost positive this is a prediction/call by him and not based on actual reporting

remember: teams can now have 6 (scheduled) primetime games and 2 can be short weeks. and there isnt any cbs-fox designation for top of the card games...i.e. a key eagles/cowboys game can go anywhere but a meaningless eagles/falcons game will still be on fox

hes not really nearly 30...he just turned 28...hes got two more full seasons before his 30 year old season evennstarts...but if you think 28 came fast its because he came into the league fairly old...had he come in as a 21 year old hed be 26 and this wouldnt be a discussion

he also didnt start until year three which speeds up a career

By next years draft Goedert will be roughly 8 months from 30. He was drafted when Ertz was 28. So it wouldn't be a big shock to see them spend an early pick on a  TE next draft

i do think they lean need in some mid to late rounds but they would never pick by need early...not that TE is a need...they would take a DT in the first or second round next year if they graded him high enough...even the gawdert pick was because they loved him not because of ertz age which was actually 27 at the time...gawderts 30 year season wont start until fall 2025 and he has really low mileage as he has started only two seasons...that said if a TE is at the top of their board at a particular pick they certainly could take one it just wouldnt be because of gawderts age...im sure they also value 12 man personnel less now with hurtz at qb and the wr's they have
