Rome

Good morning.  So the last couple of months have been difficult for your old pal Rome. I've been battling a condition that causes DVT's (deep vein thrombosis) or blood clots for everyone like me who had no idea what the farg they were.

Anyway, the incredible medical staff at my local health care system figured out what was going on and I'm happy to say I'm on the long and incredibly frustrating road to recovery.

This popped up out of nowhere.  I have no history of this nor is there a family history of it either.  They still are at a loss to find the cause but the medication they've given me has finally begun to work. It's old-school since the new school meds didn't work on me (doesn't work on 1/100 people - I'm the one).

Anyway, I'm usually private about my life these days because you never know who is reading what we're writing but I wanted to thank you guys for keeping me entertained.  It sucks being in a hospital bed or at home for someone who is chronically active otherwise.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Wishing you well, Sir.

If I got that, I'd shoot myself so what little money I have left can go to my kids.
