I find it hard that any fan who has followed them all season can sit back and say with confidence that they will beat the Packers easily. That's just ridiculous. I know the Eagles can beat them, it's just all the planets need to be aligned. They have shown nothing in the past 3 weeks to fill me with that confidence. The offense has been more one sided than it was earlier in the year and shows no signs of change. Defense is basically filled with 2nd stringers and is on the field more than off of it. If they pull off a win, I will be shocked, but not that surprised as they have done much more this year than was ever expected. Until then, I'm not getting my hopes up. GO EAGLES!

While any loss to the Minnesota Webbs feels like a beatdown, it was only 24-14.  The Eagles moved the ball on multiple occasions but made some key mistakes and looked lost on D.  But Dallas completely dominated every phase of the game last year.  Just very different.

Minnesota used the same defensive scheme other teams have been using. The problem is the Eagles coaches won't adjust. I can already see Woodson and Matthews coming off the edge and Hawk and sometimes Collins coming up the gut with the safeties dropped back deep.

the one difference is that they actually lost to minnesota and lost ugly....before that maybe andy was thinking it didnt matter what the defense was doing because in the end vick would make enough plays to win...now 11 days past since the minny game you gotta believe he is going to come up with some new offensive wrinkles

You really think Andy is going to adjust? That's hilarious especially coming from you.

i actually do...he adjusts during off weeks he just cant adapt bwtn the whistles...now the new shtein he comes up with might not work and if thats the case i have no faith in him making in game changes but i think they come out with some different looks on sunday

Eldra Buckley.  Wildcat.  Super Bowl.

Get your pants out of a bunch... the Packers couldn't put up points last week against a Bears team that had nothing to play for.  They have no run game and have been exploited by such powerhouses as the Miami Dolphins because of their one dimensional offense.

I can't believe after watching Vick all year that most of you don't think he'll run all over this Packers defense like he did in game one.

The Bears are a division rival and they have a bye this week. And lol at thinking the Eagles D is anywhere close the Bears.

Yet the Pack nearly beat the Patriots (easily the best team in NFL) without Rodgers playing in Foxboro.

The Bears were playing to keep the Packers out of the playoffs. If they were playing for nothing, the starters wouldn't have played the entire game.  The Dolphins defense isn't bad at all

Joe farging Webb. Embarrassing.

Shady's on his way...

We both know that's bullshtein, I think this is a more likely scenario (from the hire Childress article):

QuoteThis is an ancient argument, but one we're obligated to make before kickoff on Sunday. The simplest and most effective way to address the most dire challenges facing the Eagles' offense in this game is to run the football. Hand the ball off to LeSean McCoy and Jerome Harrison enough and the Green Bay defense will not be nearly as disruptive. That will help the offensive line, which in turn will help free Michael Vick to make big plays.

Reid and Mornhinweg know this. It is evident from breaking down tape of the Packers. It was in their thinking as they put together a game plan early this week. It will be a priority as the team finishes its practice preparations Thursday and Friday.

And then the ball will be kicked off, the Fog of War will roll in, and the commitment to running the ball will vanish in the mist.

And Cleveland beat the Patriots... Super Bowl bound???

It's the NFL... the Eagles have just as a legit shot at the Super Bowl as any team in the NFC.... and they also have homefield advantage against the Packers.... relax and save your nervous tendencies for next weekend.

The Browns didn't make the playoffs and why would I be nervous about the Packers/Bears game

Holy farg...how about you clowns whine some more?!

Joe Webb and Minnesota were a couple weeks ago. zesty, awful loss. Buck up.

I hope they do commit to the run more, especially with giving Harrison 5-7 carries

It was Hilarious that Sal Pal (on chicago espn radio today) was soooo shocked that Reis and Marty didn't adjust in the Minn. Game. I thought he's been following the Eagles for a while!
