In the Colts game, Vick was dropping back 10+ yards, but seemed to be taking normal drops in the Skins game. Must be part of the gameplan against teams with a good pass rush

He's dropping back that far so he can see better. He only 6 foots.

He didn't drop that far back in the Skins game though

not being able to see the receivers is what made that game most impressive

Does it matter how far he drops back when he's throwing to somebody 60 friggin' yards away?

The man. The myth. The legend.

Tomahawk

No...just pointing out that part of the gameplan is to have him drop that far back against teams with good pass rushers

ice grillin you

even with a good offensive line you need a deep drop to go that far down the field

on the play to pimp they didnt even trust a deep drop they rolled him out and max protected (clay harbor actually made the key block)

They pointed out that game how far back he's dropping back and clearly said he's doing this because of his height. I would think dropping back that far gives him the advantage to see and also to create more space to avoid the rush.

Being how important this game is, I almost wish they were playing it on the Giants home turf.

While there are other teams/stadiums that truly pose a home field advantage, I just dont think the Eagles are one of them.

False. The fans were as loud as any that I've heard during the Colts game and it clearly affected Manning's ability to yell Omaha at the los.
