I don't think so, you can argue that Shannahan had Elway, but I'd counter that he doesn't even want to keep the same qb Reid kept for over ten years.

Their stats are so similar, I have to say the thing that separates Shanahan from Reid are the Superbowl wins.

Yeah but Reid put up those numbers with a buffoon at QB. Many of Shannahan's wins were with arguably one of the three best QB's in the SB era.

The Eagles have been bi-polar for past few years, when other teams have been straight dominant. Just because this year its anyone game doesn't mean the Eagles are the same team. The only thing inconsistent this year has been Kolb's games. Vick in undefeated if you haven't noticed.

I think this is a bad spot for Philly.  I still think the Eagles eek it out, but it's a complete coinflip in my mind.
