QuoteLesbowen: Live at Lehigh, 1s vs 1s, first swing pass Shady McCoy, he drops gts popped by Ernie Sims. Next play TD bomb, Kolb to DJax over Q Mikell.

QuoteEaglesInsider: 1st team FG block: Patterson, Sims, Tapp, Laws, Dixon, T. Cole, Parker, Bradley, Demps, Hanson + Baskett

QuoteGeoffmosher: On the next pass, Avant got popped hard by Sims but held on.

QuoteJeff_McLane: Reid tells Sims to take a seat after he pops Avant. "This isn't live," he tells him. #Eagles

Couple reports on the EMB from camp, thought this one was pretty good, they all say the same thing about the same players. Sims seems to be shining early on:
QuoteI attended the morning session today and man was it PACKED! I have a few thoughts to share. Now I'm not the biggest football guru out there so I mainly focused on the offense and the skill positions.

1) Ironically, I will start with the defense. Ernie Sims had a great session, especially with his physical presence. He layed out a couple of receiver (especially Avant), garnering cheers from 10000 people. Very impressive debut for him. It seems like he has fit right in with the squad. They say he is small but didn't play small today.

2) DJax was being Djax today. Just ridiculous speed. There's nothing else that needs to be said.

3) Maclin was surprisingly quiet in the team drills. The one time KK looked his way, Bradley picked it off.

4) Speaking of Bradley, looked like he was moving very well. Similarly, Ingram looked like his knees are just fine. I wonder how his knee will respond to some of the pounding that he's about to take.

5) Kevin Kolb was mostly on but sometimes off. You can see the accuracy that the coaches rave about. His arm strength is GROSSLY underrated as he threw a couple of BOMBS to Djax (who was open all day). He stuck some throws in very tight windows quite well too. He hits recievers in sight and its cool to watch. He had two bad throws in the team drills. a) the pick to Bradley where, as Andy explained, Bradley fooled him. b) an incomplete pass to Celek where he actually threw behind him. Other than that, he hit people.

6) Two fights this morning: one involving ellis hobb and cooper. The other? Trent Cole vs the linemen.

7) You guys will see this on eagles live too but Weaver just knows how to connect with the fans. He seems like he's in heaven on earth here in Philly. Very impressive man.

That's all for now. I will give an afternoon update later

General_Failure

Weaver would be everyone's favorite player if he'd just stop doing stupid shtein every few games on the field.

I guess Cooper and Hobbs went at it today. I wonder if Cooper tried to punch Ellis in the neck.....

Apparently Maclin is doing very well in the afternoon practice, for all of you who were worried

The BIGSTUD

DeSean injured and carted off the field. People unsure of the injury at this point. Speculating back or leg.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Butchers Bill

I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

One day of practice, carrying the offense on his shoulders, and his back snaps like a twig.
