PSF, from what i've seen he's hosting his Golf Charity today, and he's been chatting it up, saying that its basically a done deal, and said its between MTL/Toronto/LA where he's going.  I cant see anyone overpaying so you may see another contract going too, like a coburn or Carle.  Its supposedly done, but the hold up is Kovalchuk, and whether LA still wants to make a play for him.

He's a Hoyda but that is an outstanding deal for his talent - especially since it's only one year.

i tend to agree with this but what does it say about that pos that his end deal was so small and cap friendly....can you say massive baggage

Kovalchuck is screwing everything up, LA is in the mix for Gagne, more likely as a backup plan for them.  IF LA signs Kovalchuck there are other trade plans supposedly with either MTL/Toronto/Tampa Bay setup.  I cant imagine that he'll get much return other tahn cap space and maybe a 3rd.  In other Cup news, The Blackhawks matched the Sharks Hjalmarsson 4 year 14 million dollar offer, and have to move players just to get him on the team.  Patrick Sharp may become available.

Pretty much they let Belmont take control of that place, and he ran it into the ground.  I haven't even registered because its such a mess.  Makes my eyes bleed when i look at it.  Both PSF and PSC are good, and pretty much the only places i go outside of here for my sports talk.
