I don't think McNabb is rock dumb; I think he's pretty average, actually. That said, he certainly tries to project as smarter than he is. But there's been talk of him being not the sharpest tack in the past. He had a ridiculously low Wonderlic score of 14, which is particularly egregious for a QB. But I don't think he's flat out dumb. More than anything, I think his trying to sound smart makes him seem dumber than he actually is.

The Wonderlic is a dumbed down intelligence test. It has nothing to do with football. McNabb is an Syacuse educated idiot who talks exactly like I would expect someone to talk who has gone to good schools only because his parents had money and he had talent. He's not smart, he's just been lucky enough to be well educated.

In a vacuum, the Wonderlic might not be a fantastic indicator of intelligence. That said, the players know they have to take it, and they know what kind of questions are going to be on it...so, unless you're a little retarded, there's no reason not to be prepared and do well in taking it.
