These are the results of the last ten drafts:

2007: 13th Pick: Adam Carriker 24th Pick: Brandon Merriweather

2006: 13th Pick: Kamerion Wimbley 24th Pick: Johnathon Joseph

2004: 13th Pick: Lee Evans 24th Pick: Steven Jackson

2003: 13th Pick: Ty Warren 24th Pick: Dallas Clark

2002: 13th Pick: Donte Stallworth 24th Pick: Ed Reed

2001: 13th Pick: Marcus Stroud 24th Pick: Willie Middlebrooks (LOL - Who??)

2000: 13th Pick: John Abraham 24th Pick: Ahmed Plummer

Now, I'm not saying that the Eagles didn't get a good productive player at 13. But if you look at the picks over the years it's pretty clear that there's a lot of reaches in that 13th slot. Evans, Wimbley, Stallworth, & Stewart for example. The 24th, on the other hand, you see a lot of guys that slid down the boards and ended up being sensational picks. Sure, there were a few clunkers (two by the Bungles - LOL) and some guy I've honestly never heard of, and it could be incredibly coincidental, but if you look at the picks at 24, it's hard to argue that there's a lot of great players chosen there.

Should the Eagles have held their ground, kept their very valuable 3rd rounders and taken the BPA there? Because there were a hell of a lot of good players available yesterday at 24.

And it will be interesting to see how the careers of Brandon Graham & Dez Bryant play out.

ice grillin you

the orakpo pick of just last year is ironic because thats just the kind of pass rusher the eagles needed...a guy with off the charts athleticism and talent in him...not a smaller high motor version of abiamiri
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I have no question that Bryant is going to torch the Eagles over and over again.  The good news is that Graham is supposedly ready to go from day 1.

I don't get this list. There is no correlation between the number of the position selected and how they will turn out.

The success or fail of Graham is absolutely tied to the careers of Marcus Stroud and Donte Stallworth. Don't you forget it.

Charlie has to be Stillupfront.

There's no question about it.

Makes sense, it's like all the departed came back at once. Keep your eye out for NB, Wing, and CT.

It's still very early in the game.

What the hell are you people talking about?

I don't see how this speculation of who I may or may not be (i assume) has any correlation on posters drafted in a similar position than i was.
