Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

MDS

hearing more good things about a notre dame/temple series beginning in 2013

would be a 2/1 and looking like its gonna go down

also psu/temple picks back up in 2014 so for 2 years temple will play both psu and notre dame and get them at home in back to back years

holla

You are excited to add four more high profile losses to the schedule?

ice grillin you

i dont think notre dame or penn state are high profile to anyone but temple

Very true. We're talking in relative terms here.

MDS

temples normal ooc games are against uconn, maryland and rutgers

not exactly big time teams there

the fact that they can get psu and nd to agree to 2 for 1s to big...for temple

ice grillin you

it has nothing to do with temple...its a game that allows their players to play in an nfl stadium...its a recruiting tool as well as a reward for their fanbases as it gives them a chance to see a game without going to middle america to do it

theres probably more nd fans in jersey than in indiana

if temple is in virginia neither play them EVER

MDS

oh i know nd is and to a certain extent psu are using temple for the 1 game nfl stadium deal and recruiting in philly thing

but 10 years ago nd wasnt giving them a home game and probably wouldnt even play them

of course nd is a farcical joke but that isnt the point. temple!

meaningless...they didnt play in the linc ten years ago....there is not a chance ever that temple gets psu or nd at "home" if not for the stadium...and not nd at all...psu played them because they are in philly

im actually surprised that nd was willing to play on campus at rutgers

Actually, they didn't. It's all a big conspiracy. That game was filmed at a soundstage in LA.

ice grillin you

its just like a road conference game to them...no different than psu playing at purdue every other year...but what surprises me is that they didnt play at the meadowlands

so youre telling me nd wasnt down for playing at the vet?

and i think this has slightly less to do with playing in a cookie cutter nfl stadium and more with appeasing east coast nd fans and recruiting. im guessing the nyc people like the sound of a 90 minute drive to philly rather than 3 hr drive to fedex or bodymore.

in fact im pretty sure nd has 1 east coast game a year and this was simply the best they could do for 2014.

ice grillin you

no they didnt want the vet when they could play in the meadowlands...and now with the new meadowlands up i wouldnt be surprised if this is the last time they play in the linc

MDS

oh no doubt....its not still 100% official and theres of course a good chance they could set up a made for tv game at the meadowlands instead of playing temple

but then they wouldnt get free home wins in 13 and 15...so you tell me brian kelly.
