Todd is a "what have you done for me lately" kind of guy.  So, despite the fact that Temple went from being a complete pin cushion to being bowl eligible two years in a row, he still puts the blame on the coach.  Because the coach is white and from Penn State, most likely.

Golden is a great choice for Miami especially considering im a Noles fan.

the losses to a pos ohio team and them not even bothering to show for up the miami of ohio game sent me off the golden train

when you look at the facts hes had 3 years of having competitive teams that can win. and hes beat 3 teams with winning records: nova, navy and uconn. color me impressed with that.

hes also lost every single big mac games hes been in. and he lost that bowl game to a terrible ucla team. hes a horrendous game day coach and simply never his team ready for big games. if he wasnt such a Hoyda who knows maybe they beat psu this year. his game plan and refusal to bench chester stewart were disastrous.

hes a great recruiter who took temple from nothing to a run of the mill mac team. for that he will also be a legend on north broad but i cant see how someone is going to go from blowing mac east titles to winning national titles.

Wow, that's bad.  So the Big Ten coach of the year gets the Hayes-Schembechler but the NCAA FBS coach of the year gets the Joseph V. Paterno award.  farging weird.
