What happened to Dwyer that he sunk so far?  Won't go in the first 4 rounds and he isn't mentioned in the top 10 available for anyone...

I read a few weeks ago that a lot of scouts were concerned about the offense they ran and that he was more of a product of that.

so i take it the eagles have no plans of addressing the o-line.  nice to see they're looking to protect their young, inexperienced qb. 

on a related note, i saw on the espn ticker that the jets are likely to release faneca since they drafted ducasse.  get. 

the defense was so bad you had to concentrate on that...unfortunately it doesnt look like they have dont that very well either

also much higher chance to get a lineman late or even undrafted and develop them than a defensive player...especially with juan

i don't disagree that the defense was top priority, and yeah they totally screwed the pooch on that.  but i think oline was definitely a bigger need than back up qb.  they've given the keys to the offense to kolb and they basically have a 1 yr window to decide whether he stays or goes so it would make sense to draft someone who can play in front of him rather than behind him.

I'm all for giving these guys a shot but as of right now I'd give this draft a C- and possibly a D. I hate that the Eagles think smallish tweener guys on D is the way to go. Somewhere Buddy Ryan weeps.
