He had plenty last year and blamed one of the losses to Dallas on "youth" rather than take it on himself.

a little but not much....if they were missing the playoffs they would deserve much more of the blame...but they were making championship games that they were favored in and not winning....and most of that is on the qb...

the qb made title games with talent around him...and without...with great offensive lines...and excellent defenses...and everytime he failed to win it all usually sucking in the process

we arent talking about a two or three year run here with the exact same team

IMO Reid and the FO squandered years of opportunity with great players like McNabb, Westbrook, Dawkins, Brown, Lito, Trotter(and I think Michael Lewis pulled his wt as a run stopper).  #5 didn't really have a go to guy until #81 arrived.  I think the team had to make a change, did the right thing by giving Kolb a chance and I'm surprised the FO had the stones to do it

i love how teams like tampa baltimore and the giants can pull off a sb win in far less chances than donnie had and oakland atlanta tennessee chicago ect...can all make the same number of superbowls but poor 5 never had enough around him

Back to the draft... Don't expect the Eagles to get much more talent for Kolb.  It's looking to be a defense-heavy draft.

OK, back on track here...this isn't about McNabb or Kolb. Its about my disgust with the front office and their propensity to reach for picks and then blow them up like they are more than they are.

I hope Kolb proves me wrong. There is nothing more than I'd like but to eat a big fat heaping pile of crow over this.

I just don't see it happening. I think its going to be another case of the FO screwing up.

until mack and mccoy prove to be much better nfl players (and i certainly think than can be)...you can make a strong argument for 03 being as good and maybe better...but either way its not >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
