what's to decide?  he's going to sit around waiting for a team that's looking for a turnover machine at qb to call.  it would probably be a good idea for him to use his time and catch up on the wire or something.

next step = wait out free agency to see which team with the worst starting qb and sign with them as a back up

frigging guy was a one money shot wonder.

So were Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson and a ton of other guys...Except those guys have jewelry, while we've watched and waited 11 years for our "franchise" QB to try to do the same.

Sgt PSN

johnson was always a pretty good qb.  very accurate passer.  he just wasn't an elway or manning type player that could put a team on his back and carry them.

i think dilfer is a better qb than people give him credit for, but much like johnson, simply wasn't "the guy."  not saying he was great or anything but once he got out of tampa, he put together some solid years with baltimore and seattle.  at one point, didn't he have like a 20 plus game winning streak as the starting qb between those 2 teams?

i don't remember as much about hostettler or williams because i was probably in my very early teens at that point and was solely focused on the eagles.  didn't pay much attention to the league as a whole back then so the only thing i really knew about them was that they won a super bowl.....which means i probably thought they were super awesome.

i hear what you're saying but delhomme & those two benefitted from better coaching and  much better defenses in the cse of the bucs and ravens.

just on the merits of being a qb none were better than mcnabb. none of them had an assinine head coach call pass play after pass play while watching his shtein for nothing wideouts get throttled at the line of scrimage either.

i digress though my brotha.

You know, it's not like Witherspoon lit the world on fire last season but for farg's sake they might as well just run 5 DLs and 6 CBs out there and call it a day.

The complete lack of priority on the LB position is appalling.

Don't worry guys, we have Fokou and can re-sign Trotter.

basically this, they have no planning at all at the position, and will end up with injured players like last year, and roll out shtein
