No. He won a championship. Unlike Fouts and Marino. He's a top 3-5 QB without question.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Zanshin

You live by the Brett, you die by the Brett.

It wasn't all him all game, though. Some of the turnovers in that game were flat-out ridiculous.

General_Failure

I barely paid attention to the game, but every time I looked the refs were digging through the pile to see who recovered a fumble.

The man. The myth. The legend.

phillymic2000

He played a bunch of years doped up, farg all the iron man awards. He's not top 5, top 10 yes. He is a top three all time dickhead.

BigEd76

9 different NFC teams in the Super Bowl the last 9 years

the taterskins, Lions and Vikings are the only teams that haven't been there since 1994

and the Vikings have lost their last 5 championship games

fair enough.  and to be clear, i wasn't asking the question in an effort to "prove" that he's not top 5 worthy because where he ranks all time is subjective and purely opinionated.  but his pick last night got me thinking about his post season career and overall, he doesn't have a very flattering resume in jan/feb.  but if nothing else, he did hold it all together for that 1 championship season so that does put him above others without.

ice grillin you

holy shtein dont EVER again include brett farve and donovan mcnabb in the same post again sarge

if you wanna knock farve from the top 5 all time best qb's that one thing but comparing him to mcnabb is a joke of epic porportions

and lol @ a superbowl not making a difference...especially when you pair them with farves unreal numbers

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

reese125

mcnabb vs favre...I dont know...Im torn.

and isnt pretty sad that of the 4th quarter comebacks and GW drives mcnabb does have, not one person remembers them. I wonder why.

BigEd76

nobody remembers 4th and 26

there's really only 3 that stand out and come to mind.

2000 @ pittsburgh.

4th and 26 playoff game vs green bay.

mnf @ giants (10-9 final)

but yeah, the rest are largely forgettable, presumably because none of them ever propelled the eagles to a championship.

SunMo

he had one in green bay in the rain that i remember
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Eagles_Legendz

2003 on MNF against Green Bay when he hit Pinkston in the end zone late was a nice drive too.  It's been a few years though.

reese125

apparently Childress had a $300,000 incentive clause in his contract with a win last night. that sucks.

methdeez

Favre's Iron man record is amazing enough to get him in the hall of fame. That record will never be broken.

I disagree that Favre is top five all-time, but that's coming from a guy who believes Otto Graham is the best QB ever.

What I don't get about the game is some Vikings fans say the refs handed the game to the Saints. The Vikings were lucky to even have a chance to win after turning the ball over that many times
