i doubt he'll go anywhere next year although i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they keep him on a short leash just so they can run kolb out there and evaluate him more.

Maybe in this case with the Eagles, or maybe not. But Kirwin, who was a gm, knows a lot of FO people and sometimes gets the inside scoop. He also has a much better understanding of these things than anyone here.

If you could find a team willing to give a first and a third this year, he'd be gone. I'd start Vick, draft a qb with the extra pick and let Kolb fight it out with the pick for the no. 2 spot. If Vick sucks, bring in Kolb or the pick. You gotta' start somewere, gotta' do something.

While I agree with you Holic, I listen to these 2 religiously every day. I think they do more of pumping the other teams fan base up when they call in to give them a glimmer of hope. Theres been huge speculation since seasons end that Mcnabb is going to the Vikes because of Childress and heads will continue to talk about until told otherwise. Pat and Tim are no different.

But my point is, I haven't heard them talk in any serious way in the past when there were at least as many rumors or as much speculation about McNabb leaving.
