lol @ sizeable market for mcnabb

dook would love to playing jacksonville
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

There are enough teams on the cusp of being average/above average with horrible QBs that could easily make a play for McNabb.  Delhomme/Garrard/Orton are all quarterbacking decent teams that should have interest in Donovan.  Also Seattle probably wouldn't be far out in the NFC West with anyone other than Matt Hasselbeck.  Maybe I'm wrong and there aren't a handful of teams that would be interested, but I think there would be.

i cant imagine they would deal him to an nfc team but i suppose anything is possible if they get the right offer

Ha. A team that needs to rebuild at every position is not giving away draft picks for a 10-year veteran with a self esteem problem who throws everyone else under the bus when problems arise.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Exactly.  You can cross out Washington being in division and TB drafted Freeman in the first rd this year, but there are a lot of teams that should be interested if the Eagles decided to trade him.

Trade him or re up him.  He won't be playing on a one year deal next year.  And if I'm forced to sign Donovan for 3 more years or deal him and get a decent package back, the decision is fairly easy.

rjs246

Miami, Denver, Minn, Jacksonville, Carolina, Washington. That's it for possibilities. 5 of those teams are a QB away from being competetive now. The other one is Washington so anything's possible. None of them are in start-from-scratch-rebuild mode. Rebuilding teams with some sense will not be shelling out money and draft picks for a McNabb.

Probalby not. It'll be his umpteenth new coordinator in umpteen years. Campbell's career isn't over, but its been completely wasted.

The man. The myth. The legend.

i think campbell's got some skill and could have been a pretty good qb in the nfl had he played for damn near any team other than the taterskins.  maybe he can still be salvaged but dude's got to be fried in the head from having to learn a new offense nearly every year.  i don't care who you are, not even joe montana, tom brady or peyton manning could be successful with that much turnover.

Another thing I noticed when I watched the game on DVR...

The Richie Kotitesque wasted time out on the punt. I thought Reid did that but the TV showed Ted Daisher calling it and then proceeded to get his ass chewed by Andy. A rare burst of negative emotion from the big fella.

No, REID called the TO. he admitted it in the press conference. Daisher screwed up by having not enough guys on the field for the punt.

No, PG - he took the blame for it.

Go back and check it out. Daisher tapped himself on the chest and said "that's my fault" and then when they came out of commercial break it showed Reid jumping his ass.

PhillyGirl

The "fault" was farging up his special teams and not making sure he had enough guys on the field....Reid said he called the time out.
