should have just said from the beginning of the 08-09 season to the end of the 08-09 season he averaged 60 pts a year

take away two flukey late goals against a gagging chicago team and the flyers have three goals in the last three games...one game vs. awful boston team whod just lost their best player for the year and another to the dog ass rangers

maybe in something you dont have a diseased bias over....i mean the hartnell spin above is just desperate and sad

how is it spin?  He sucks, is a joke on his skates, is in slightly better shape than you, and looks like a muppet?  Have i disagreed with  any of that?  I still think he has upside to his worst year in his career, guess i'm a homer.  He's gonna play this zesty forever, because he's a ginger, got it.  Power forwards take time to develop, he has hands of stone but so did Knuble.  shtein knuble was in the league forever before he started putting up 40 points.  So in summation, Hartnell is an abomination on the ice this season, and is certainly overpaid for what he's doing, that said i think he's still a 50 pt a year guy.  If they can trade him for anything of value, you do it.

its spin because to defend last season not being a fluke out of a ten year career you only included four seasons three of which were his top 3 scoring seasons of his career...and even at that you came up with 44 pts per...which is still 16 pts less than his best/fluke year

Hartnell is Knuble with way better hair and slightly less capacity abstract thought. Why does it have to be anything more or less than that?

2nd #'s are Mike Knuble another Power forward who didnt immediately develop. 
Hartnell for his career average is 39.33
Knuble over his career is averaging 33.93 or 36.46 if you discount his first year.   

Money wise again, he's not worth 4.5, but he could be worse and thats the scary thing
