No one's been protecting around the net. I'm pretty sure 2 of the 3 goals have come from Predator players just bangin in rebounds. Partly the goalies fault for leaving so much out there, but the defense has gotta be around to pick up the trash.

The goal on Bouche was especially bad.

why is hartnell still in the nhl ?

because he make 4.5.  I think he'll get back on his game, 60pts last year was no fluke, but he needs to learn how to work out and not look like a cream puff


Briere's contract is simply the worst thing ever

and that was easily his career high....come back with a few more 60 pt seasons and maybe this year is a fluke

whats sad is that the team somehow thought he could duplicate that and it was one of the main reasons they traded away so many goals and now they have harnell asham carcillo all in their top 9

when chris pronger is your third leading scorer its time for an influx of offensive talent on the squad

yeah, hartnell putting up 60pts was the definition of fluke IMO. as far as briere - i wanted drury. i also think not trading gagne a few years back was a big mistake.

so he averages 44.3pts if you dont count this year from 2004.  His goal scoring was definitely his best at 30 goals, and i think he has the ability to do that or pot at least 25.  He's also the most out of shape farger i've seen, he was drinking Nestle Quik after a game a few days ago.  He's still just 27 and entering the prime of a power forward's career.  At 4.5, he's overpaid for the slob he is, but i still think he'll be serviceable.  If they can trade him for some picks and youth, then do it, but he needs conditioning more than anything. 

I wanted Gomez over Briere and Drury, all 3 have sucked balls, and arent worth the paper of their checks, but that offseason is what it was.  Worst season the flyers have ever had, they predictably needed to make a splash, all 3 top players from that have sucked for the most part, Briere is going to decline quickly though, he's just too soft.
