The very idea of the Flyers having a good to great young goalie is so arousing that I just don't know what to do with myself.

Asham is hurt if that counts. 

JVR has been playing very well, 3 assists in 2 games, and like i said before, the puck just follows him around.  Pyorala was a great find by Holmgren, he's just an incredibly smart hockey player like a forward version of Timmonen.  Giroux actually hasnt been lighting it up so far this year, not sure what that's about.  The D has the best skating/passing i've seen all the way thru the lines.  And Emery is such an upgrade if not for how he plays, its that he's not a flag the way Biron was.  Biron just didnt care if he lost, Emery wanted to punch a baby when he gave up his first goal.

Also I was entirely convinced that Carter's season last year was a fluke and that JVR would be useless. Happily mistaken on both points so far.

Now if you had taken out the so far and only went with the absurdly early claim and the disclaimer that it's too early at the same time, it would have been IGY ridiculous-post/prediction approved.

FWIW, i called DTV to bitch about not having VS.  I talked to a lady who gave me an instant 100 credit for the inconvenience of not being able to watch the game.  All i did was call DTV, tell the automated machine i wanted to cancel, and asked how long i had left on my DTV contract, and that i wasnt happy that i paid for Center Ice yet cant watch a ton of games.  Instant credit.
