gave up too many yards on that 3rd down, but stopped them just short of the 1st. would have been nice to have them punting from inside the 20 thought

i doubt it. not in a tie game on their own side of the 50. if it's short, they risk giving up a fg at the least and then the eagles get the ball to start the 2nd half.

That formation was not the A-11. Looked like Emory & Henry, as the players on the line were linemen.
