Great now we can have a week or two of the Vick haters whining about this.

Perfect distraction from his zesty play!

I hope the dog bites Vicks face off and then electrocutes him.

QuoteAdam Schefter
‎Unless Michael Vick leads Eagles to the playoffs, league sources believe that this will be the quarterback's last season in Philadelphia.

QuoteAdam Schefter
If Vick is on the Eagles roster Feb. 6, 2013, three days after this season's Super Bowl, $3 million of his nearly $16 million salary becomes fully guaranteed. But if the Eagles opt to release Vick before Feb. 6, 2013, they will not have any financial obligation to him and his contract will come off their salary cap without any charge

The bigger picture is that the one making the Vick decision would be Reid. But if Vick does badly enough the team wants to get rid of him, Reid will be gone too. So maybe Howie and Jeff decide, and Howie gets promoted to the ultimate decision maker with a new HC who is just a HC. Unless Reid goes to Foles who gets a playoff win.

SD

Unless they make it deep in the playoffs at least 2nd round I can't see how you'd keep him. He is what he is at this point which is a QB who at best can manage games and at worst is a fumbling machine. Unfortunately we're seeing his worst more than we are his best.

I was hoping I'd open this thread to see the word:

well he didnt really fumble today but he did have like 15 interceptions

so...progress?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Dillen

Anyone know the record for most turnovers by a player in a full season? I figure it's Culpepper when he was on that 20+ fumbles a year streak, but can't find shtein online.

Munson

When they did the quick drop backs and throws, he directed the offense pretty well. When they drop him back on the longer drop backs, the pressure gets there and he panics and makes dumb decisions.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I just can't figure out how this team makes zero effort to adjust to blitzes. Let's run Mac and Pimp and max protect the rest of the time.

WTF. It's hard for me to believe that other shtein teams give their QB's time to throw and this group of knuckleheads can't get it together. I seriously am on the ledge with this team. I'm glad to know that this will be a decisive season, it's superbowl or get the farg out.

I'm just not sure who is out there that would coach the Eagles next season...Bill Cowher or John Gruden? Is that it? Tony Dungy?

Anybody but Reid and I'll be happy.  >:(
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

They'll finally fire Reid, and we'll celebrate for two days. Then they'll announce the promotion of Juan Castillo to head coach.

The man. The myth. The legend.

QuoteAs Andy Reid was exiting the auditorium following his day-after press conference, a reporter asked if he is committed to starting Michael Vick against the Falcons.

"Today, I am," the head coach responded.

After a stomach-turning loss to the Lions, Reid said he will "tear things apart" and evaluate everything.

Will Vick be a part of that evaluation process?

"I am going to take a hard look at everything,"  he said.
