Shore must be just coming off a bender from new years eve because Im pretty sure everyone is all on board with Vick.

yeah, 5 million would be bargain.  I do not however have any idea where you got that from.

Well, believe it or not, I meant to type 15, but oh well. Also, it's not the general feeling around here to trade Vick, although I'd thought I'd seen the possibility brought up at one point after the last game. I was just saying that this team, right now, is a lot better off with him than without him.

After the game I had suggested franchising and trading him. The last month or so of the season I saw him regress back to his Atl days and I'm not sold on him being a SB caliber QB if he's going to keep playing like that. Of course, when the Eagles resign him (and they will) I'm not going to hate the decision.

Regressed all the way back to when he was a Pro Bowler.

Its hard to tell if the guy was really regressing back or the line was just getting progressively worse.

It did seem that he got a lot less ballsy standing there in the pocket from the beginning of the season because of the accumulating injuries and he took off.

Clearly, he is the second coming of Brett Favre.

I know this is a week late, but he threw an ill advised pass that was intercepted to end a playoff game. I'm a seer.
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

Please.  When he was in Atl and going to Hawaii and grabbing a lot of headlines and highlight reels, damn near everyone on this board was killing him and saying how overrated he was and that he wasn't an all around QB.  He's still a much better QB now than he was in Atl, but I saw a lot of the "old Vick" during the last 4 or 5 weeks of the season.

It very well could have been contributed to the O-line's play.  But as the season wore on, his accuracy seemed to tail off a bit as did his decision making.  I've done a complete 180 on the guy since the start of the season and have no problem saying I'm a fan.  And it's not like I even want the Eagles to trade him, really just throwing it out there for discussion.

Simple answer. Bitch was scared. He was tired of running. Tired of being hit. It got to him. I don't blame him, with 100 million on the line...shtein...my peeing accuracy would have been affected. Get him a line, he gets 'us' a ring.

I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

this is on point...

it is also his MO his entire career. it wont change, good OL or not. You sign him long term means you accept that he's going to break down at the end of most years. it's just his style of play. 18 games is not going to bode well for Mr Vick

This is pretty much what I was getting at when I mentioned the idea of trading him.  After a nice offseason, I could easily see him starting off next year the way that he started this year, but then start to regress again around week 10.  The one thing I like about him though is that he shows up in big moments/big games.  He's not scared of the moment.  (Thinly veiled 5 shot)

Sadly, I knew what this said before I checked to make sure.

I don't know, I also revert back to the play callers putting him in position to win. He was getting killed, with little no adjustment from his coaches. Not even an extra blocker, time and time again. That weighs on your mind, it effects your game. Tom Brady can't play behind that line and or play callers. I'm sorry, its way too easy to blame Vick solely on this. The guy was doing fantastic until Chicago exposed the offense(which was going to happen at some point). Then teams had a blue print. Problem was, Reid and Co. didn't change their game plan, regardless of how terrible the line was, they go for the big play. Its pretty simple. No oline, no big play. No run game, no big play.
