You're all right. McNabb had to go. Trade a proven vet for a hope this new guy will be good. I'm wrong. Hell they should have dealt the bum in 2005.

General_Failure

Probably could have gotten more for him, and by now Reid would be gone as well. I think you're on to something with that idea.

The man. The myth. The legend.

He's proven, alright.  Proven to be just not quite good enough to win the big one.

defend his performance in the arizona game
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SunMo

that one isn't hard for the mcnabb lovers

"he brought them back from 22 points down, blah, blah, blah....defense couldn't get off the field, blah blah blah"
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

rjs246

I sent SunMo a text during the 4th quarter of that game that says it all.

"Would you rather have Kurt Warner or Donovan McNabb right now to win the game?"

THE END. CLOSE THREAD. BLAST US ALL INTO THE ABYSSMAL DEPTHS OF THE OCEAN.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Vick makes more sense than Donovan ever did.  Very sad.

Quote"It was gratifying to be able to go out and just have fun playing the game and playing the way I like to play the game and the way the game is dictated," Vick said. "Sometimes, we have a tendency to make the game more serious than it is and put a lot of pressure on ourselves which is normal, which is good because you have to do that in order to bring the best out of yourself."

Clearly, he is the second coming of Brett Favre.
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

PoopyfaceMcGee

He didn't say "aw shucks" or whip out his dongasaurus, so NO.

If he was wearing crocs during the interview all bets are off.

I thought they should have kept McNabb over trading him to a divisional rival, but the arguments that you have to cut strings at some point and the Eagles aren't going anywhere with McNabb is persuasive. As has been posted many times, he had plenty of chances but didn't produce.

I disagree with the Eagles exit strategy. Kolb did play well against a Chiefs defense that was 30th in yards allowed, but even though he threw for a shtein ton of yards, he did not play all that great (3 picks) against the Saints who were 25th.

I hope Kolb does well but I see no reason to have faith in the ability of Andy Reid to judge a players talent. or coach

i seriously doubt they decided to go with cobb as their future qb after the kc game
