Speaking of stupid people, I took the trolley (read: fancy 50's style bus they have here - yay) to the baseball game last night and two clowns got on.  Both were on probation (how do I know this - they talked about it on the bus) and both of them explained to each other in full detail how they took drugs during probation and managed to avoid getting popped by drug testing.  They said it on the bus.  In full view and earshot of anyone sitting within 20 feet of them. 

It takes a special sort of stupid to tell everyone around you that you're not only breaking the law but violating your felony probation as well.

I imagine Mike Vick doing things like that and it makes me feel giggle a little bit.

no charges will be filed against the shooter and the case is closed because Phillips won't cooperate with police and witnesses aren't saying anything either

If the Eagles decide to part ways with quarterback Mike Vick, they'll need a replacement.

Howard Eskin of WIP reported earlier today via Twitter that the team is eyeballing Troy Smith of the Ravens.  Smith, who won a Heisman Trophy at Ohio State, has faded deep into the depth chart in Baltimore, behind Joe Flacco and recent arrival Marc Bulger.

As to the question of whether the Eagles will make a change, Eskin writes, "Say goodbye to Vick!"

Just minutes before someone was shot outside Eagles quarterback Michael Vick's birthday party, Vick got into a confrontation and had to be restrained by friends and placed inside a limousine that took him away, the Commonwealth's Attorney in Virginia Beach said today.

Vick is not a suspect in the shooting, but Commonwealth's Attorney Harvey L. Bryant addressed Vick's actions before the shooting when he discussed the case today.

"There were some confrontations between individuals and between groups and Michael Vick was involved in one of those confrontations," Bryant said, per WAVY. "[It was] a confrontation that involved shouting, words passing, some bumping."

Bryant went on to say that friends restrained Vick and put him in a limo, but that Vick then got back out to again confront someone. Bryant would not identify the person Vick was confronting.

"In terms of just using good judgment, at one point, he got in the limousine, and should have left at that point," Bryant said of Vick. "He got out of the limousine, and with the help of several friends, he was returned to to the limousine and left."

I have tried to accept this guy and give him another shot but what a complete jack ass.  Dumb shtein should lock his door and only leave the house for workouts, OTA's and when training camp begins.

In fairness the DA has said that Vick has been cooperative and honest.  He is just an idiot for ever putting himself in this position.

actually he wasnt honest...he first stated that he had left the club a half hour before the shooting...then it came out that he left about three minutes before...now its come out that he tried to leave his limo and to engage in an altercation

I am just going by what the DA said there has been a lot of contradictory sthein.  Bottom line I could care less if they cut him.
