im in no way suggesting this is why they signed vick but thats not 100% accurate anyway...teams split revenues from retail stores like modells and from the nfl online shop...

but the birds get all profits from merch sold thru the eagles online store and their own retail stores like the eagels outlet or the headhouse plaza shop

Winning a SB is too costly. Paying for quality talent on the field, not to mention the cost of those rings. You get more bang for you buck with the freakshow.
