the move puts another crazy year of distractions to McNabb. dude cant catch a break

i don't think it does.....at least not right now.  vick at his best would never be a threat to take mcnabb's job so there's no reason for mcnabb to think that vick is any sort of threat.  the only possible distraction to mcnabb or anyone else on the team is the bombardment of stupid questions they'll get from the media for the next 6 months.  

its not even close to a distraction for mcnabb...you think the birds would re-cake him off then two months later get someone to replace him...if anyone would be upset it would be cobb...but i dont even think thats the case....vick is not taking any under center snaps for this team that isnt part of the wilddog offense

as i mentioned last week i think you will see him as a red zone thread for the most part...which is a problem they have been trying to solve for two years now...and this offseason the number one thing they did to address the problem just blew out his knee

i also think andy knows how bad this defense is going to be this year and is just trying to load up on skilled weapons on the offensive side of the ball and try to win 30-28 every week

Just had a conversation today about this as a possibility. The dude has paid his debt so as far as I'm concerned that's a non issue. The issue is that he sucks. Hard. He sucked before he went to jail and after 2 years in jail I can't imagine that he sucks less. I mean, his first few years he was a phenom and fun to watch and he was sick in college, but he isn't a successful QB, he can't complete a high % of passes and he isn't a spring chicken anymore. I don't see where he fits in frankly. Maybe he takes Booker's roster spot? I don't know. I just don't really get it.

another potential weapon on offense...however they use him and anything is possible except as a west coast passer...if he truly sucks then they cut him....this is a no brainer decision...you can never have to much talent in football

He might not be in the wildcat formation standing in the backfield like the media is suggesting, but you can bet Reid will use him to draw attention away from the other positional skilled players...maybe short screens maybe even split out wide..who knows with Reid

I see him getting hurt real quick being out of football for so long anway
